This notice explains how we use the email address you give us when requesting early access to Wings. It applies only to this early-access list.
Who is responsible for your data?

What we collect and why
You provide only your email address. We use it to send exactly two emails: one verification message and, after you confirm the address, one message when Wings is available to download. We do not use this list for newsletters, profiling, targeted advertising, or unrelated marketing. Firebase Cloud Functions temporarily processes technical request data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the form from abuse.
Our legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Giving your email is optional, and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that happened before withdrawal.
Who processes it?
We use Google Firebase to securely receive the form submission and Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) to store the contact and deliver both emails. They process data for us under their applicable data-processing terms. We do not sell or share the address with other businesses for their own marketing.
International transfers
The form endpoint runs in Google Cloud’s Finland region, although Google may process limited service data on its global infrastructure. Resend stores customer data in the United States. Resend’s Data Processing Addendum incorporates the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EEA. You may ask us for more information about these safeguards.
How long we keep it
We delete unconfirmed requests within seven days. After confirmation, we delete your early-access contact record from Resend after submitting the download email. We also delete it if you withdraw consent, or after 24 months if Wings has not launched by then. If the same address is held separately for another purpose with its own lawful basis, we remove all Wings-specific data from that contact instead of deleting the separate record. Resend and Google may retain limited security, delivery, and service logs for the periods required by their terms or applicable law; those logs are not used by us for additional marketing.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us to access, correct, erase, restrict, or provide a copy of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent. Email contact@cheekypixel.dev; include the address you used so we can find your contact.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland, or with the supervisory authority where you live or work.
Changes
If our purpose changes, we will not use your address for the new purpose without a new lawful basis and any consent required by law. Material changes to this notice will be shown here with a new effective date.
